Had to come up with some kind of recirculator for the Gold Cube since Michigan is so strict with their water usage.  This way, I can wheel everything out to where I'm going really easy.  Haven't done a full scale test on it since we still have snow on the ground, but I think it will work with moderation.  I don't think it will handle a full shovel of dirt, but if I classify down to 1/2", it should plow through it all day.  I also plan on having a small bucket in the wheel borrow to catch the tailings so it doesn't clog the pump.

    Randy,
Just saw your post on the Gold Cube recirculator again as I was reviewing postings. Very cool. Plus you have a great way to get rid of the tailings when running at home in the winter. Mine is set up with an aluminum guide to direct the tailings into a 5 gallon bucket, since the Cube discharge is too wide for a regular 5 gallon bucket.

I would like to figure a way to let the tailings settle some before going back through the pump.

    Great job!

I'm an apartment dweller, so I don't have space for a recirculator. So I use my bath tub! I am single and live alone so it works for me. (WARNING: May not be compatible with some spouses/roommates.) By using two tubs, one catches tailings, while the larger works like a sediment pond. Only very light dusty silt gets into the tub, making it easy to rinse the tub when done. By putting the pump at the high end of the bath tub, the silt mostly stays out of the pump. Since the Gold Cube is designed as a concentrator, not a sluice, I use it to clean cons below 8-mesh. Helps me stay busy during winter months, or for cleaning samples taken from dry areas while backpacking.

Check out the gold cube bucket flare made by Columbia River Mining Supplies. I saw it at a local show and had to have it. Works great! Fits on the stand bracket and makes your water and tailings find a 5 gallon bucket (I usually use 3 gallon bucket cause they're lighter to carry and empty) without missing the bucket.

Sure thing!! Still use it in my garage for all the cons I get out of the highbanker.

    Hello fellow Gold Cubers

I was having an issue running my cube in the field with the highbanker set up. Water being the issue it has to be brought with on my desert adventures. When I'm packing 100 gallons for a solid days run it takes too much room. I have agonized over a solution we would silt up and change water 3 times a day. I was at the Gold show in Phoenix and Royal Manufacturing had the answer all in a tote ready to go. I can now run the whole day off 40 gallons of water and keep my pump from sucking up too much silt and all the other wonderful stuff we seem to find digging. I know several folks on here have already built something similar. I was really happy to find it already built and field ready just add water. Check out the link below it’s the set up I purchased. Super happy with it!

We also run the bucket flare what an invention it was an amazing piece to our Cube!

    Hope it helps you

This is how I run my gold cube. I have changed from the bands to connect pipes to tubs to using uniseal available on amazon. I also have added some evaporative cooler material to filter out some of the fines. Some pipes pick up from the bottom some just work like a overflow. Works good in my opinion I have ran about 10 buckets without having to change the water . When your done off the day disconnect tubs and everything fits in one large tote . I tried to attach images but it will not let me . If interested hit me up I will get u pictures
