Since you got them in May, an appeal probably is not going anywhere.
Probably going to have to fill out location notice for each one you want to keep, record with county recorder, and send to BLM state office with appropriate acreage fees and the processing fee. Bear in mind you need one person per every 20 acres or portion thereof.

Also check at recorders office to verify someone else hasn't filed on them. If someone else has filed and you overfile, BLM will take your money then tell you, nothing they can do..
