If anyone is interested in joining me and one other gold panner for a couple day trips please contact me. The outings will occur Friday, 4/10 and Saturday, 4/11. We will likely start from my house in El Dorado Hills, CA and hike about 1 hour down to a remote spot on the South Fork of the American River. It is a pretty good spot to pan/sluice and has some easily reached fast water for a sluice box setup. I will be detecting in the area. Saturday will likely be a day trip to one of the GPAA claims within about an hour or so drive from El Dorado Hills. Does anyone have a suggestion for the best site to do some panning?
