Hi Sam,

Your best bet with GPPA claims (in my opinion) are those in northern AZ. It’s pretty much impossible to not end up with at least a flake from hitting those gold fields. From Las Vegas, they are about a 2-3 hour drive.

Crimson Dove claim in Utah is quite a bit more of a drive (about 4 hours from Las Vegas), but if you are looking to pan/sluice, it might be one of the closest options. Absolutely beautiful space.

If you wanted to join a local club, Gold Searchers of Southern Nevada has several claims in northern AZ, as well as a claim in the Johnnie District by Pahrump. They are having a monthly outing next weekend at one of their AZ claims.

I am in Northern NV just recently relocated here. Maybe we can get together sometime and do some prospecting. I have metal detectors and a river sluice basic stuff no dredge or highbanker or anything. If you decided to do any prospecting up towards middle to north nv or over in ca let me know maybe we can meet up
