We  will be moving to Rifle, Colorado at the end of July and we have 1 spot we really love that produce great gold.. we are always interested in more locations. We have a Dry Washer, #" high banker/Dredge, sluice box, Whites MXT, Blue bowl, and other helpful equipment. I will give personal phone # to people that are GPAA members and that would like to go prospecting, families are more than welcome to join for the prospecting trips. experience or no experience I have alot  of knowledge to help people out

ok, when you move we will see where the best places to go and the water level should be low enough that we might be able to find some good areas.

Hi guy, my name is Trace. I just saw your post and I too moved to Rifle last summer. I'm pretty new to this gold thing, but I'm hitting it hard in the toy purchasing side . Just not in the finding gold side of things, lol. I've tried rifle creek, east fork elk creek below the grey eagle mine, even the Colorado at the rest area. And I can once in a while find a speck of flour gold at all these. But I'm actually looking for somewhere to stake a claim to work next year. I just don't know where. So I'm wondering if you have any insights around here. I'm a stay at home dad, so if you ever want to go out and teach me a few tricks I would be more than happy to go and be your student for a day. Thanks.

I am planning a trip to Colorado the first week in August. Would like to possibly find decent gold without power equipment or possibly work with someone that has equipment. I will be traveling with my elderly Dad and two boys.
