Hiya Bryan, Don here from port angeles, just signed up today.  I pretty much work the creek by my house and a couple others on the Peninsula.  I am thinking of hitting up some other places in E. WA.  So if your located in Yakima and I am going to be prospecting anywhere somewhat close I will give you a holler.  Thinking about trying the Blewit pass area later this summer...  Klahowya ~ Don

Hey enjoy the show, afraid I can't make that, am trying to get my boat ready for halibut season.  There are a couple GPAA claims a few miles from me I am going to be checking out shortly.  Hope to be able to make a report on it and thinking of doing a video of my little creek sometime soon too..   May your pan shine, even in the rain!

there is a ton of claims in the blewett pass area so beware of not trespassing, that being said there is a lot of fine gold to be found in concentrated areas. A lot of large nuggets have been found on private claims in the area but my understanding is they are going thru 3-30 feet of overburden to find the ancient river beds. I haven't hit it yet but i'll be optimistic.

Hey Bryan will you let me know when the snow on the FR is melted enough to get in to the claim off 410 ? I was up there 2 weeks ago thinking I could get in but there was 4 ft of snow and a small tree across the FR .  I'm thinking of heading up there sunday but if you know something I should before leaving Yelm I'd sure like to talk to ya !

My name is Bob Burns in Benton City Wa. 509 308-4444 . Sorry for the late post but I just saw your post. The pickins are lean on the east side of the State. I have been with GPAA and LDMA for 5 years and have been to 3 of their outings. I will be going to the Burnt River Oregon Outing on May 29 thru June 4th. The cost is $150.00 . I will probably Arrive there on May 27 PM or on the 28th. It will probably be a 6 hour drive from Yakima. The site is South of Baker City, Oregon.
