From Grangeville, take highway 14 towards Elk City. The claim is at mile post 37 and is clearly marked with 6′ tall white posts for the corners (upstream and downstream).

Driving east out of Grangeville, on Hwy 13, turn right at the edge of town onto Mt. Idaho Grade road, stay left past Sunset Auto View, (drive in theater), continue through Mt. Idaho and down the grade, at the bottom of the grade, road meets Hwy 14, continue up river on Hwy 14 towards Elk City, to MP 37, which is at the junction of Newsome Creek Road. FORGOTTEN PATRIOT claim is further up river from MP 37. MP 37 is the middle of another claim, and is NOT a GPAA claim. Continue up river on Hwy 14 until you see the white posts, about 1/2 mile.
