I am somewhat surprised that no one has mentioned an old, old teaching that my family continues to pass on. Of course this rule will never supercede the original 10 rules.....
The Golden Rule : a fundamental moral priciple which simply means "treat others as you would like to be treated." If you do a internet search you will find that most all major teachings, religions have their own way of stating the same basic principle.
Although there are many other cliches; IMHO and only my opinion the golden rule kind of sums up or rolls all those other cliches together. If we all would briefly think a while before typing, speaking, or acting all our blood pressures would lower including mine! Remember that email, forum topics or replies show no emotion and sometimes what comes from our fingers (
) is not at all what we were actually thinking.More FAQs, Rules, Agreements, etc will never take the place of maturity and civility. This is my favorite and most informative forum and nothing in this reply was meant to be critical or mean; just a reality check, reminder.
Take care and CUL.

I certaily agree with you on that. A few on the board seem to be getting a tad hostile these days. I suspect that some, like myself, have quit posting finds and information for this reason. |
