If you come off the 138 there is a gate before the tracks that says road closed. The lock has been cut and is just hooked on the other half of the gate and can be opened. Just make sure you close it. If you come in the other direction over the hills I highly reccomend 4wd.

I recommend a 4x4. I was able to cross the RxR Tracks (12/8/17). No gate on this route. Don't know if it's okay to do it but I've come this way several times.
