Detected wash and above, found old miners dump area. Took 2 classified buckets from deep on side of wash below schist entering wash. Nothing gorgeous claim down deep.

A few hours detecting on the (very, very) dry wash. No gold but at least not too much trash. Brought back some dry screened sand and that was bare. It will be nice to check out this site when there's some water to run a sluice or pan more and grab some cons. Directions are easy to follow and only last the stretch on the forest service road is a rough and rutted mess-don't even think about trying it without an ATV or rock-stomper 4 wheel.

Hiked down to the dry creek to drywash around a nice outcrop running across the creek out at the north end of the claim where the creek curves around. Host rock with nice quartz seams with tiny pyrite crystals scattered throughout.

Absolutely that helps Gary...... big time. Looks like the north boundary line goes right through that homesteads property which i will respect not to go on.
