Ever since I was about 10 years old, I have lived a life constantly aware of the Massie legacy within the prospecting and mining communities. I was born in Nome, Alaska, raised primarily by my mother and moved to Southern California at a very young age with my stepfather, Tom Massie, my mother, Cindy, and my sister, Aly.
