    I'm looking for a prospecting buddy to hit the mountains with. I'm new to gold prospecting but have all the equipment needed sluice box, pan, etc. I plan on going sometime this weekend and probably camping out there for a few days.     Hey Zac,I am new to the GPAA and a total green horn. I live in Newbury Park (Ventura County).

    I was going through some older posts and was curious to see how how the prospecting learning curve has been going for you.


    I plan on attending my first GPAA Chapter meeting in Chatsworth with the San Fernando Valley Prospectors Club a week from Thursday where I hope to eventually learn, attend outings and meet others with the same interest.
