    Hi everyone I'm Alex and I have never done this before and by this I mean this is my first time prospecting and really want to get into this hobby since I like being out doors. I will be going to the gold show in mesa az at the end of the month and would like to try some gold panning in that area. I would be there for about 4 or 5 days depending on my work schedule. Would like to meet new friends and would like some help where to go after gold show on Sat and Sun. Thanks

    Alejandro;

    The GPAA is looking forward to the event as well. We host a gold panning area with real gold, and allow all who participate to keep the gold they find, adding to their collection. The Phoenix Chapter of the GPAA will be helping us host the event in Mesa, and their members should be able to offer some great advice on local prospecting!

    We just wrapped our Gold Show in Mesa, AZ and it was a phenomenal event! It was a very busy show from start to finish. The major prize raffle was very popular, and we have worked with best in class manufacturers to offer over $15,000 in prizes for the weekend.

    Gold Shows are a great opportunity to meet with local chapters and vendors. I will be there to help if you have questions. See you out there!

    Brandon

    I am looking forward to it too! Flying in from Texas Saturday morning. Maybe our paths will cross during the day. I am new to prospecting in Arizona and will be looking to make some friends in the area. Brandon is a good source of information. He was a big help to me in Abilene.

    hopefully our paths will cross at the show. I will be making the 10 hour drive to mesa az. A little road trip which I don't mind driving since that is what I do at work. I should be there for both days and should have some extra days after the show to go out and look for gold. Maybe we can hang out if we cross paths. Just 18 more days and it will be show time. cant wait.
