Just saw a post on another form that PLP's Jerry Hobbs passed away.  He was a leader in the fight for the mining community, and will be deeply missed by all who knew what he sttod for.

    From the same forum....

Celebration of life for Jerry will be held on Saturday, Jan. 3rd, 2015 at Keene Engineering, 8940 Lurline Ave., Chatsworth, CA.

Noon to 4 PM, open to the public, can bring pictures, stories, etc.

In lieu of flowers, donations to PLP would be appreciated.
