Took a drive up to Warrior today to check it out.. I didn't get there til about 1pm & with sundown at 430 ish I wasn't about to traverse into the canyons.  I'm gonna head back out there early in the morning, but from what I could see from atop, that is one hell of a potential. Right now it's a dried up riverbed that is in a DEEP canyon and runs for a couple of miles. The claim guide says that you can use a detector, dry washer, or even a sluice(I'm assuming when it rains. I certainly wouldnt want to drag anything into that canyon. It's a hell of a hike let alone trying to haul equipment in. My detector, a pick, backpack and a few essentials should be fine... I'll post an update tomorrow.

From the parking lot, look left. (Go 117* Magnetic OR 130* Geographic) You'll see a trail to the left by the picnic tables. It's a 5 minute walk down with just a few rocks to climb over. But you already figured it out...Unless you haul water & a battery sluice down there...well good luck. Either way, at the bottom, the adventure is to left (N) on the tight inside bend You'll find more Gold for $10 bucks a couple miles up the road at the Julian Mining Co. They have a sluice and Gems for the kids. Pay the $$$ to get the scoop of paydirt at the entrance if you actually want to see Gold.

And don't tell anyone that if you clean out UNDER the Julian Mining Co's sluice box...You'll find Gold there also, so enjoy.
