have trouble with finger and hand fatigue while panning?

try this,go to hardware store and buy a smooth cupboard handle and mount it on outside of goldpan where it is comfortable to grip with your fingers. this greatly reduces finger and hand fatigue while panning.a handle comes with mounting screws at a cost of about 2 bucks, and helps tremendously try it as soon as you get used to it you'll be greatful for the idea may your pan turn yellow and enjoyment of panning increase.good luck to all

another fix at times requires to go to a smaller pan. Reduction of weight and size adds to better control and less fatigue. Years ago I could use a large pan and of course I always filled it up, now I do not fill it up or just use a smaller pan.

I have two Garrett green pans...one is very heady duty, and one is much thinner.  The thinner one is about half the weight of the heavy one.  For that reason, the heavy one rarely gets used!
