If the goal of this new forum was to kill the forum, it worked!

This new forum in my opinion is geared at generating new memberships. There is a lot more staff posting on this forum than the old one. Could it be that the staff is trying to " JUMP START " this new forum and run some damage control ? It is very interesting and amusing to watch an organization try to reinvent itself. If most of the membership is happy then corporate is successful, on the other hand if most of the membership is unhappy then corporate has failed. Corporate may feel that as long as revenues and profits are up no problem. I just hope this new marketing strategy dose not ruin it for the older members that helped to spawn and nurture this club with their dollars invested in the past. Ron

Just got the new issue of the mag last night, and read Brandon's article.  While still early in his tenure as the new owner, if what he wants to do is successful, then all is good.  If not then it will require some more retooling.  Wait and see time I guess.

Get hold of Jeremy or Nicole, both are a pleasure to work with and Jeremy spent a lot of time getting me straightened out when I signed up on this one from the old one, and screwed it all up.

That's an interesting point, Ron. I'm still fairly new at this but I was mostly doing a lot of reading and no posting on the previous forum and it was very large and active. IMHO very well done and busy like truck forums and utv forums and such. This new forum is nowhere near as active nor has the information sharing that the old one had. I hope it all works out and all the folks that were active and present in the old forum get into this one. The http://www.goldprospectorsspace.com/ site is pretty nice, too and has a lot of good information for folks like me that are still learnin'.
