    Hey fellow prospectors!

My name is Eric, from Arcata, CA. I have been doing some minor prospecting in Willow Creek. I've found some color, but am interested in finding a lot more. I'm a new member and the closest claims to me are on 299 west of Weaverville. I would be able to put in a few days a week until work slows down. My equipment includes a gold hog hog pan, gold hog mini highbanker with extension, 36" Keene sluice, buckets, shovels and the desire to fill my vial! I'd love to run my mini, but not sure if I can without a permit, on our claims. I'd be interested in finding a spot and working a lot of material, with a few other members. If you already have something going on, I could come lend a hand or equipment. I'm a hard-working, family man who has gold fever. Hope to hear from somebody!

    Eric

The outing is July 26th I get there on Friday night which is the 25th we camp at the Hayden flats campground just west of del loma ca about 2 miles from claim. Saturdays dig will be followed by a potluck dinner back at campground. We will be helping teach a 4-H group how to prospect on this outing. Everyone is welcome hope to see you there. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

I mined on the Trinity at Del Loma many years ago. Canadian creek dumps into trinity there and it would be well worth your time to prospect that area. Towards top of Canadian was a mining town the gov't shut down in 1912 due to all the killings.. Part of the ancient river system is what they were mining, big gold up there.
