I am new to the gpaa. I have found some gold and I was wondering where would you go to sell the gold after you have found it?

first of all, don't take it to a pawn shop or one of those places with a sign in the window that says we buy gold...

If you have a small amount sell it on E-bay...If you have a large amount send me an email jim@brazosbendelectric.com

    good luck

Call The David Fell Company in California. They will store your gold, process your gold to your liking, or pay you for your gold. 323-722-9992

Know what you have weight and carat wise before you talk to anyone
It's good to know what spot price is.
Unless you tons T, don't expect a quote of more than 70 % spot price
And as Jim states, don't go to a pawn shop or see a sign, I'll save you a trip, send it to me I'll send ya something

Do not sell for anything less than 80 to 85 percent of spot .Know what spot prices are .And we do not know how much you have .

The gold we find depending on the areas has different qualities, like wire red gold which is rich in copper, or nugs and fine flakes that are almost 24kt, it just depends on where you are finding it. Do yourself a favor and have it assayed, because lots of times you will have platinum, silver, mercury and a blend of other metals mixed.

Like others said above, don't sell to a pawn shop or a place that hangs a sign "We Buy Gold". I picked up a 30lbs piece of Tellurite that assayed at 62%. The luster across the top caught my eye even though it was brown, put it to a Multimeter and the current carried straight through.

Gold does not always appear as gold, and never throw out your black sands.
