    Hi,

I recently bought a Metal Detector, Can somebody tell me some places where actually we could use the metal detector in Georgia. I live in the Dunwoody area.

I was some days ago in the GPAA Gold Mine located in dahlonega but I thinks that is just for panning and not for use the Metal Detector. I'm new to this hobbie but I wish to use my new toy I really appreciate any help.

I'm interested in gold, silver and any antique hunt.

    Thanks,

    Isilio

MD on old tailings piles, around footers of old stamp mills, etc... for gold and relics.

There are many Civil War battlefields that may produce some interesting finds on relics and coins.

If you get REALLY LUCKY, you may a minted coin from Dahlonega or NC mints.

I have used my AT gold in the creek at the farm claim. Besides old 6 packs it helps me find spots that are mineralized. I dig there then.
