Last thanksgiving I may have tried to recycle to many aluminum cans, you know doing your part for the planet and I got playing on ebay on this mining claim and waited till the last 10 seconds and placed a bid and won it by 10 cents. It was surprisingly cheap and with a pair of gators,  410 snake charmer it made a great xmas present for my beautiful bride. So in Feb. off we go to Yavapai co. in the bumblebee area and actually it is a nice claim, lode but has the best of both worlds because it has lots of washes also and we found color in most instances whether from the quartz or just the dirt but only got to stay about 10 days with travel and all. This year we have another trip planed but its a shame it sets there 53 week of the year. Being 800 miles away I cant keep an eye on it all the time but maybe it might be nice to share and at least have some activity on it to keep the bad elements away, like the government. Tom

Maybe the GPAA would be interested, then it would be in the guide book. You can change the name of the mine if you want to. Maybe Tom's mine or something.

Chris the claim is the whn-3 and serial # is amc 433605 and is right off the road leading towards I believe the crown king about five miles from the 17. Easy ground and most  all the claim is easy sloping to the I believe the American wash below. I remarked the corners last year but they don't last long and there is shafts and diggings above  on several sides of the claim  and I believe it is at 3900 ft but you know what they say gold runs down hill so take a look and let me know what you think. I do have a kind of watchmen that checks in on it every now and then, he's 7 ft. tall, 300 lbs dresses in black and travels with a mean old hound but I don't think he's around this time of year. Thanks Tom

Tom, if you are a GPAA member and are interested, call Walter Eason at the main office. He can explain how GPAA does their claim program so you have those details. You are not obligated, but always good to know all your options. Ask about putting restrictions also. You might want it to be a detecting claim only say, or dry washing only.

Thanks for the info but I don't think any mining claim should have any restrictions and it is a lode claim so if someone wanted to dig a tunnel I guess that would be okay but I don't go in shafts or tunnels, had two friends that got some kind of fungus in there lungs  and dam near killed them even causing  one to have a stroke.  Just do it according to safety rules  and have fun.Tom

    HI All

Share a claim is open to members and non-members as one of the perks is that you get a free membership as long as we have your claim open to members. Just to let you-all know. I am open to questions on the Share a Claim program. Best to call 800 551-9707 X 177 Monday through Thursday. Thanks

Thanks for the info Tom. We found the claim on Mine Cache and are thinking of visiting this Saturday. We'd also like to take a few pans to see what's there.

Is that all OK with you?

It's not too far from our home. it looks like it's in a good area.

Dig Away and here are the  corners, NW N-  34 15 475 W-112 11 321, NE N-34 15 475 W-112 11 148, SW N-34 15 421 W-112 11 321, SE N-34 15 421 W-112 11 148, SORRY THEY ARE DECIMAL. I had them marked with pink ribbon but they don't last long down there and there are lots of stakes  that go over one another from old claims. There are quartz out crops both upper and lower and we just took buckets back to my buddies place and ran wet and dry with producing color in both methods. I believe it has great potential but no pain no gain and has not been worked. My bride had lots of hits with her tessoro lobo and great mineralized ground with green shist  or what we call shale here and other rocks. There are shafts all around it and they did not dig them for fun. If you find any trash and you will pick it up and I will count it towards maintance. Thanks Tom
