    Please share this with your members and claim owners in this district

    in the attachment you will find a map of Morrow Mining District. Areas in the Morrow Mining District include; The Coolgardie Mesa is half of Slocum Mountain, about a third of Black Mountain some of Lane Mountain

     

    The MMAC is helping with advice and some legal to help the Morrow Mining District come out of disarray.

     

    We will be taking nominations for the board of directors Morrow Mining District and holding elections to confirm them. So, please bring your CAMC claim number or letter of proxy from the claim owner and claim info to able vote in the elections of Morrow Mining District.

    In the attachment you will find a map of the Morrow Mining District  from San Bernardino County Recorder’s office.

     

    The district was originally formed March 11, 1897, as published in Los Angeles Herald March 17,

    1897.

     

     The following information will be in the October issue of ICMJ magazine:

     

    Meeting will be in the Coco (closed) parking lot 15570 Park Ave E Victorville, CA 92392 Palmdale exit of the 15 north or south.

    Time 9:30am

    We will also be selling raffle tickets at this meeting to raise money for the Morrow Mining District with some great prizes, drawing will be at the Duisenberg outing by LDMA October 23rd to the 29th and the drawing will be held on the last day.

     

    We are incurring many expenses, the signs and the rebuttal letters to the BLM about the Lane Mountain Milk-Vetch Weed restriction were the first. We will accept cash donation for the district, please clubs and claim owners donate; we will also accept Gold or silver to raffle at future  meetings. If donating by check, please contact us at infomorrowminingdistrict@gmail.com.

    Three clubs have donated to the district and one non-claim owner. At least one Mining equipment manufacturer has already donated and a few others have informed us that they also intend to donate for the prizes.

     

    The polls for the signs have already been donated to the district. You will see this sign in the attachment on roads soon so look for them when you enter into the Morrow Mining District

     

    And please, get the word out. We are trying to protect our mining rights in the districts and the states!
