Hi Jean-Claude I'm David from Atwater, have you joined any of the local communities?? I too am a newbie, but I've found most of the gpaa communities are very friendly, supportive and free with information. Isn't there a club in Madera? Dave Youdal a member of Delta Gold Diggers, very newbie

When I go through there going to Yosemite on Hwy 41, I thought about going to the Gold areas before the park like Coarsegold & Briceburg & Bagby. etc.
