This year the wife and I were out poking around, not at camp, just out S/E of Decision corner, and we saw a guy in one of the washes dredging. We just had some pretty good rain and some of the washes were running.

We have a little 2 1/2" triple dredge, and I was thinking of bringing it out when it's too wet to drywash and give it a try. Has anyone on here done it before?

We do belong to a couple other organizations, so there are plenty of washes to try, but just curious if it is worth it, or is it more hassle than it's worth?

Kind of thought it might be fun. Where my dredge is right now, we get to dredge in a creek that is fed from a larger river that is known for gold and also platinum, and bedrock is under 2-3' of water and about 1' of overburden. I love seeing the gold sitting on the bedrock. This bedrock is very course, and last year I found this weird blueish clay vein that went the entire length of my dredge hole. I didn't scrape it out but it is about 6" wide, and don't know the depth.

Anyway, looking forward to getting it out there and playing around. The weather out there is beautiful right now, was a little windy Friday night, but that just puts the wife and I to sleep at night.
