    Taxiing down the runway the silence was deafening.

    When the tires cleared the runway the yells, screams, whistles, crying and bawling were deafening.

    GOOD BYE VIETNAM!!!!!!!!!

    THANK YOU to all veterans and active duty AND their families.

    Amen brother.  I well remember the Freedom Bird (aka C-141) lifting off the ground on it's way to Clark.  Wasn't in country, but over in Thailand, but the reaction was about the same..........

     

    Thanks to all who came back, and thoughts daily to those that didn't, and those still there.  All 58,479 of them.
