LDMA= Lost Dutchman's Mining Association. It is a series of private property claims and properties that are a membership based, with monthly upkeep dues ($10/month, 120 a year)   Most have camping and facilities on site, and various lengths of stays allowed.  Contact the main office for more information and a prospectus.

    Hi Ken

When you join the Lost Dutchman Mining Association you also get as a part of the membership a membership in The Gold Prospectors Association of America. This is a life membership that comes with the LDMA life membership. Most of the LDMA camps east of the Mississippi have a lot of GPAA claims near to them and some that are exclusive to LDMA also. Most of our camps have caretakers on them and this enables a person to leave their camp to mine different claims and have some security of their camp site. Most of the camps do offer other services also depending on the camp.

I’m relatively new member in far south Texas and need to know what if any LDMA claims or groups are in Texas. Thanks for any information. Jeff Gray
