Was thinking about prospecting at the 6 Feet Under Claim in Kern County Ca this up coming weekend. Has anyone prospect and have had any good finds at this Claim?

I just detected the 6 feet under in the beginning of Feb. I did not find any. A very good looking site, though. Much of it has high angle hillsides. I am 68 and cannot manage some of the area. A younger, more agile person should work the promising area. Suggest drywashing or recirculating setup. Much never worked dirt is exposed along the canyon walls. A very nice off-road area at the beginning of the road leading to the claim will handle most RVs. 6 or 7 units will fit. You can take the road into the claim but definitely high-clearance. Suggest 4x4. True to its name, Iron Canyon is a picturesque canyon. I expected John Wayne to come riding by. Take a camera in. There is an area with some kind of vein that was worked in about the middle of the claim. you will see the "dump" rock to the left. Someone spent much effort to recover that mineral. I should have sampled it. I would also suggest the ADK up on top of Benson Gulch, just east of 6 feet. Considering the amount of activity around the ADK, I definitely would suggest that too. 4x4 not needed there but suggested. Some of the turns going up to it may bother some with vertigo. The very nice town of Randsburg is nearby. The General store, Jim Straight's hang out, is closed on Mondays and usually on Tuesdays also. Provisions at Johannesburg, a mile further east. I liked the stay. Good luck.  ╦╦Ç
