Gold was found; Good times were had and stories were told.
While attndance was down from previous years, the smaller crowd made for a good time where participants got to know each other better.
More activities will continued throughout the weekend at the three- and five-day event, including the Treasure Hunt, children’s activities such s kickball and of course plenty of gold mining.
Crystal McConnel won a gold nugget in the duck race held Friday.
