Optimism is high for another successful Gold Show this weekend with a stop in Fresno on Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 20-21). Attendance has been strong this month in both Boise and Phoenix.

Once again, two trips to the Alaska Expedition will be given away at the Fresno Fairgrounds. Edwin Neil of Austin, Colo., and David Souders of Surprise, Ariz., were the big winners in Phoenix. The Fresno event will feature how-to seminars, displays of the best in prospecting equipment, a gold panning contest and episodes of "Gold Fever" on the big screen in the lecture hall. Fresno concludes a three-week Gold Show tour for February but more shows are on the way. Puyallup, Wash. (March 20-21), and Salem, Ore. (March 27-28), will be hosting shows next month. We hope to see you there! - Larry Brillhart
