After spending seven weeks filming on the shores of the Seward Peninsula and hundreds of hours editing back in Southern California, it's hard to believe the Alaskan series is coming to an end. For those of you following the show on the Outdoor Channel, there are only three episodes left.
We finish the season diving into the operations at a commercial mine located right outside of Nome. We then head back to the Cripple River Mining Camp as the closing crew prepare the property for the harsh winter weather of this region. Ever wonder how this expedition came to be and who in their right mind would purchase 2,200 acres in the far reaches of the Arctic? All these questions and more will be answered in the season finale as we explore the past, present, and future of the Gold Prospectors Association of America's Alaska Gold Expedition.
Don't get Outdoor Channel? Not to worry ... the Alaskan DVD Box Set will begin pre-ordering soon. Keep an eye on Goldprospectors.org for more information.
