Public Lands for the People (PLP) filed a preliminary injunction Thursday against Senate Bill 67 (moratorium on suction dredging in California). The case will be heard at 2 p.m. on Feb. 25 in Sacramento before judge Morrison C. England in courtroom 7 of the Federal Eastern District Court.

With any luck, the moratorium should be lifted by the end of March and miners should be able to resume dredging at that time.
