The GPAA gold show team is headed to Mesa, Arizona this weekend, Sept. 29-30, for the Gold & Treasure Show. The remaining four shows of the fall circuit are listed below:
FALL CIRCUIT (remaining shows)
Mesa, AZ September 29 – 30, 2012
St. Joseph, MO October 13 – 14, 2012
Dayton, OH October 20 – 21, 2012
Spartanburg, SC October 27 – 28, 2012

“At the spring shows, we had record attendance, more vendors, more displays and more seminars and speakers than ever before,” said GPAA Chapters & Trade Show Manager Gary Sturgill.
“The GPAA is reaching out to more members by holding more Gold & Treasure Shows in more locations. The shows are designed to teach people how to find their own gold. Gold prospecting is something fun and affordable you can do outdoors with your friends and family. The shows are a way of connecting with our members and introducing new people to the camaraderie of the small-scale mining community,” he said.
“The Gold & Treasure Shows are also a way of showing appreciation to GPAA and Lost Dutchman’s Mining Association members. Even though the price of gold tipped the scales with a record high of $1,900 per ounce in 2011, many of our members are still reeling from the downtrodden economy and may not be able to travel as far to the shows,” Sturgill said.
“We’re trying to get into new territory where our members need our presence and support. If they’re going to support our club, then we need to be out there for them,” he said.
