I found PURE GOLD!

This is a photo of my youngest son, Tristan, 6. I would like to extend a huge “THANK YOU!” to the Central Valley Prospectors (an Official GPAA Chapter) which had a great Gold & Treasure Show over the weekend at the Fresno Fairgrounds.

I enjoy getting out and visiting GPAA Chapter events, helping out with memberships, talking with members, helping others and of course listening. Let me tell you I found pure gold this past weekend. Tristan, accompanied me to the show. As a dad, I was nervous he would be bored after a few minutes. He loves to help out and be a part of whatever is going on. He didn’t really hang out in the GPAA booth, but invited himself to help out in other vendors’ booths. I was laughing to myself, but the vendors didn’t seem to mind.

He was also going over to the Central Valley Prospectors booth and was learning to pan. For two days he would pan, then run over to me and say things like, “They said I’m a natural!” or “I like the blue pan better, not the black one. That one doesn’t work very well.” to “Now they told me I’m a professional!”

That folks is PURE GOLD! When I saw the glow on his face, the gleam in his eyes, that was no pyrite or mica — that was PURE GOLD! Thank you Central Valley Prospectors for an awesome weekend, and giving me some PURE GOLD. Your chapter is incredible, your members wonderful and PURE GOLD!
